Senior RF System Engineer (NFC)

Location: Gratkorn, Austria (Hybrid / Home office available)

What you will do

• Lead RF-related NFC system validation projects for mobile products within a cross-functional team.
• Plan, execute, debug, and report validation activities across the product development lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior RF engineers.
• Optimize RF validation workflows by leveraging novel software tools and automation.
• Analyze and optimize RF performance to ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 14443, NFC Forum, and EMVCo requirements.
• Contribute technical expertise to customer support and design-in engagements.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in RF engineering.
• Solid understanding of RF communication systems, modulation, coding, and receiver/transmitter architectures.
• Advanced programming and data analysis skills in MATLAB and Python.
• Hands-on experience with simulation tools such as ADS or Spice.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
