Electrical Maintenance Technician

Location: Marion, North Carolina, United States; onsite manufacturing environment

Salary: $52,800–$72,600 annually

What you will do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve electrical equipment and plant systems.
• Use measurement and predictive tools to assess equipment condition and reduce unplanned failures.
• Generate and refine preventive maintenance plans, analyze failures, and implement root-cause corrective actions.
• Lead electrical installation work, including conduit, junction boxes, and equipment supply circuits.
• Support new equipment implementation and factory acceptance testing, including occasional overnight travel for training and acceptance activities.
• Document maintenance activities in Maximo and other required systems, manage parts and orders, and write job plans and standard work.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of electrical distribution experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Associate degree in an electrical or technical subject area.
• Must be authorized to work for an employer in the United States.
• Basic written and oral English communication skills are required.
• Basic mathematics and computer skills, effective communication, organization, prioritization, and ability to work with limited supervision.
