Maintenance Tech I (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment, including lift trucks, plumbing systems, and specialized production test equipment.
• Install, start up, shut down, and relocate production equipment and warehouse racking in accordance with OSHA and company safety requirements.
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain equipment performance and maintenance records.
• Identify potential mechanical and electrical problems, communicate hazards, and advise operators and supervisors on safe equipment operation.
• Train and assist other maintenance team members and work overtime when required.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic work.
• Experience with building and construction trades, common building codes, hand and power tools, and materials including wood, metals, and plastics.
• Experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, or similar equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and strong safety awareness.
• Ability to understand and communicate proficiently in English.
• Must establish employment eligibility and complete background checks and required pre-employment testing.

Nice to have

• Commercial or industrial building maintenance and manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Trade license, OSHA training, machining, welding, or plasma cutting experience.
• Current or previous Commercial Driver’s License.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and internet tools.
• Spanish communication skills.
