What you will do

• Build and maintain test jigs to evaluate GNC sensor performance.
• Integrate and test sensors including IMUs, magnetometers, GNSS receivers, and star trackers.
• Develop and debug sensor communication over SPI, I2C, UART, and CAN interfaces.
• Support hardware-in-the-loop test setups for GNC software and flight-like interfaces.
• Use platforms like Raspberry Pi, Arduino, or Pixhawk for prototyping and test automation.
• Design fixtures and test equipment using 3D printing and rapid prototyping methods.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder).
• Hands-on experience with hardware testing, sensor integration, or embedded systems.
• Familiarity with navigation or attitude sensors such as IMUs, magnetometers, or GNSS.
• Experience with communication protocols including SPI, I2C, UART, or CAN.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or C++ for test scripting and data analysis.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software interface issues using lab tools.

Nice to have

• BS or MS in Aerospace, Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing or real-time simulation.
• Familiarity with Linux, Git, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Experience with CAD and 3D printing for fixture design.
