Senior Engineer II- Information Security Systems (Cybersecurity)

Location: Boulder, Colorado, United States. Occasional travel to client sites in other states, typically 3–5 days and less than once per quarter.

Annual base salary: $70,304–$205,000.

What you will do

• Engineer and integrate cybersecurity controls into virtualized platforms, shared storage, networks, and mission systems.
• Translate NIST and CNSS security controls into technical designs and secure implementations.
• Troubleshoot and support Linux and Windows servers, workstations, Cisco network devices, and enterprise file systems.
• Implement continuous monitoring, vulnerability scanning, patch-compliance checks, and SIEM log analysis.
• Conduct assessments using Tenable, DISA STIGs, CSO Benchmarks, and NIST guidelines.
• Analyze security findings, prioritize risk, and lead remediation with system and network teams.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Poly required.
• US citizenship required; export-control eligibility requires US citizenship, permanent US residency, or protected-individual status.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience with expertise in NIST RMF and related standards.
• Experience supporting Linux and Windows systems, Cisco network devices, and enterprise storage.
• Hands-on experience with Tenable/ACAS, Splunk/ELK, and HBSS/ESS.
