Production Technician (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom. Full-time permanent position working 37.5 hours per week on a rotating Monday–Friday shift pattern: 7:00am–3:00pm and 10:00am–6:00pm.

Salary: £27,000 per year plus a weekly shift allowance.

What you will do

• Prepare and inspect compounded medicines and support the production of medical products.
• Work in a controlled cleanroom environment with manufacturing equipment and computer systems.
• Carry out environmental monitoring and routine quality checks during the compounding process.
• Complete production documentation accurately in line with Good Documentation Practices.
• Support labelling, visual inspection, picking, preparation, and sanitisation activities.
• Meet production deadlines while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and effective teamwork.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a production environment.
• Flexible, proactive approach and clear communication skills.
• Confidence using Windows-based computer systems.
• Full training is provided; pharmaceutical manufacturing, cleanroom, hospital, or retail pharmacy experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques, GMP, or GDP is advantageous.
