Sales Coordinator (Industrial Machinery Manufacturing)

Location: Vernon Hills, Illinois, United States

Salary: $55,000–$65,000 per year, dependent on experience.

Industrial machinery manufacturing organization supporting customer orders, product specifications, sales operations, and delivery processes.

What you will do

• Process sales orders and support customers, regional sales managers, sales representatives, and internal departments.
• Coordinate the complete order lifecycle from quotations and contracts through shipment, invoicing, payment tracking, returns, and project completion.
• Prepare quotations, purchase orders, order confirmations, receiving documents, and other sales documentation.
• Coordinate delivery schedules, transportation bookings, commercial invoices, packing lists, air waybills, and shipping instructions.
• Manage technical specifications, custom product requests, service requests, item transfers, and order status updates.
• Provide reception and customer support assistance and complete additional projects assigned by management.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in sales support, customer service, account management, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work overtime on short notice when required.
• Experience with ERP and CRM systems is preferred; manufacturing, industrial equipment, or machine sales experience is also preferred.
