Manufacturing Supervisor, Packing (Medical Manufacturing)

Location: Marion, North Carolina, United States. Onsite manufacturing-facility role on the 7:00pm–7:00am shift. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $64,000–$88,000 base annually, plus annual incentive bonus, commission target, and equity target.

What you will do

• Supervise daily manufacturing operations for drug formulation and packing activities.
• Oversee raw-material weighing, cleaning and mixing of tanks and equipment, distilled-water sanitization, filter integrity testing, and production documentation.
• Maintain safety, quality, GMP, cGMP, SOP, FDA, and product-documentation compliance.
• Audit, refine, and improve equipment and processes while sustaining a clean and safe work area using 6S principles.
• Lead employee training, feedback, recognition, discipline, and development, including GMP, job-skills, and safety training.
• Analyze operational data, troubleshoot manufacturing and personnel issues, and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

Requirements

• BS degree, preferably in a scientific or engineering field, with 0–3 years of manufacturing experience; or a high school diploma with 5+ years of equivalent manufacturing experience and at least 1 year in a leadership position; or a high school diploma with 5+ years of military leadership.
• Leadership, interpersonal, assessment, troubleshooting, writing, reporting, and computer skills.
• Ability to understand and apply GMPs, cGMPs, SOPs, FDA requirements, safety instructions, quality standards, and written work instructions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, supervise multiple groups, collaborate across departments, and present information to groups and senior management.
• Basic written and oral English communication skills are required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work for any U.S. employer.
