Location: Austin, TX, United States. Relocation eligible. Some travel to other worldwide manufacturing sites may be required, approximately 10% of the time. The role may require clean-room work and the use of appropriate personal protective equipment during site walks and program oversight.
Salary: $128,000–$176,000 per year, plus comprehensive benefits and potential bonus and stock awards.

What you will do
- Serve as Chief of Staff to the VP of Manufacturing for the Austin campus and act as a trusted advisor across strategic, operational, and organizational priorities.
- Manage the VP’s operating rhythm, including staff meetings, quarterly business reviews, all-hands meetings, leadership offsites, agendas, pre-reads, decisions, and follow-up actions.
- Lead strategic site-wide and selected worldwide manufacturing projects and programs, including outcomes, milestones, viability studies, resource planning, costs, and timelines.
- Represent the VP in cross-functional forums and coordinate with Finance, HR, Legal, and other corporate functions.
- Lead the manufacturing organization’s strategic planning cycle, including goal-setting, organizational reviews, and execution planning.
- Prepare executive communications, talking points, organizational announcements, and recommendations for complex or ambiguous initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience, ideally in semiconductor, manufacturing, or operations environments.
- Experience in project or program management, executive support, Chief of Staff work, or comparable cross-functional leadership.
- Demonstrated success operating in a matrixed organization and leading projects with significant risk and complexity.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering or a related technical field preferred. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Strong judgment, discretion, communication, strategic planning, problem-solving, and stakeholder influence skills.
- Ability to work in the Austin, TX manufacturing environment, including potential clean-room access and required protective equipment.
