Set Up Technician Nights (6 pm - 6 am / Rotating Shifts) (Injection Molding)

Location: Vernon Hills, Illinois, United States; onsite full-time role

Salary: $24.00–$38.00 USD per hour

What you will do

• Start up, operate, and monitor injection molding, assembly, automated, robotic, and auxiliary equipment.
• Load validated machine parameters and programs, align automated systems, and verify product quality against specifications.
• Perform visual inspections, line clearances, cycle checks, and quality-related documentation and traceability.
• Troubleshoot small and mid-size process issues, respond to alarms, and escalate problems to Setter Level 2 or Maintenance.
• Pull and set molds, clean injection molds, perform color and material-lot changes, and support product changeovers.
• Complete Level 1 TPM, follow LOTO and safety procedures, and contribute to lean and process-improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lb and stand or walk for approximately 90% of the shift.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, grab, and climb.
• Ability to satisfy the job's vision-testing requirements.
• Basic math and PC skills; basic mechanical skills are preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
