Set Up Technician Days (6 am - 6 pm / Rotating Shifts) (Injection Molding)

Location: 600 Darling Dr, Vernon Hills, Illinois, United States; onsite, full-time, rotating shifts from 6 am to 6 pm

Salary: $20.00–$38.00 USD per hour, plus a 10% night shift differential.

What you will do

• Start up and operate injection molding, assembly, packaging, auxiliary, automated, and robotic equipment.
• Load validated master cycle parameters, align programs, and verify that machines and products meet specifications.
• Inspect products visually, perform line clearances, retrieve quality documentation, and complete traceability records.
• Pull and set molds, clean injection molds, perform color and material-lot changes, and prepare assembly startup batches.
• Troubleshoot small and mid-size process issues, respond to alarms, and escalate problems to Setter Level 2 or Maintenance when needed.
• Perform Level 1 TPM, cycle checklists, LOTO for unsafe equipment, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Able to frequently lift up to 50 lb and stand or walk for 90% of the shift.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, grab, and climb.
• Must satisfy the role's vision testing requirements.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Basic math, PC, and mechanical skills are useful for the role.
