Senior Supplier Engineer

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States. Travel required approximately 20% of the time. Relocation is not eligible.

Salary: $112,000–$154,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead supplier technical audits and evaluate supplier performance, capabilities, and improvement opportunities.
• Lead supplier quality problem resolution and incident management, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Qualify new and existing suppliers and drive systemic process-level improvements.
• Use enterprise software to document containment, root cause, corrective action, and corrective-action verification.
• Train suppliers, conduct process audits, and promote effective testing methodologies based on corporate compliance and industry standards.
• Support the development and execution of hirify.global' global Quality Management System and related industry-standard documentation.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of metal machining and Design for Manufacturability principles.
• Experience with PFMEA, DMAIC, and 8D methodologies.
• Experience working with machining suppliers and business-unit design engineers.
• Ability to lead complex problem-solving, communicate difficult concepts, and negotiate technical solutions.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.
