Salary: $131,000–$184,000 annually, plus potential stock options.

Company

hirify.global develops commercial space infrastructure, including in-orbit pharmaceutical processing systems, reentry capsules, heat shields, and satellite buses.

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain high-reliability services for telemetry ingestion, scaling, distribution, and spacecraft commanding.
  • Build operator-grade mission-control interfaces and dashboards for integration, testing, and on-orbit operations.
  • Create flight-software simulations, device emulators, and scenario-based automated testing tools.
  • Design and productionize CI/CD pipelines, artifact management, infrastructure-as-code, service templates, test harnesses, and observability tooling.
  • Develop deployment patterns for laboratory, test-stand, and mission-network environments, including safe rollout and rollback strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, or equivalent technical experience in safety-critical software.
  • 3+ years of experience developing spacecraft or similar safety-critical software.
  • Strong Python development skills and systems fundamentals in concurrency, networking, performance, and reliability.
  • Experience with real-time data acquisition, low-latency messaging, telemetry distribution, time-series databases, and relational stores.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD, dependency and build systems, infrastructure-as-code, logging, metrics, tracing, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and qualify as a U.S. person for access to export-controlled technology.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in C++, Ansible, and/or NiceGUI.
  • Experience with data acquisition, closed-loop control, flight-software testing, simulation, or mission data tools.
  • Knowledge of safety-critical certification artifacts, ground-systems standards, mission-network security, and mission-grade command interfaces.

Culture & Benefits

  • Full-time employment with flexible paid time off and 12 paid holidays.
  • Company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, with FSA and employer-matched HSA options.
  • 401(k) plan with a 6% immediately vested employer match and incentive equity.
  • Parental, family-building, pregnancy, parenting, and menopause benefits.
  • Relocation support for new hires when needed, daily lunch, twice-weekly dinner, wellness reimbursement, and EV charging.
