Engineering Program Manager (Enterprise Technology Services)

Salary: $207,400–$311,700 base pay per year.

What you will do

• Own the strategy and execution roadmap for work-tracking standardization across IS&T.
• Define engineering work, team, ownership, taxonomy, and hierarchy structures for organization-wide tracking and reporting.
• Lead taxonomy design at enterprise scale, using AI-assisted grouping and human review where judgment is required.
• Run adoption pilots for cross-organizational technical initiatives before broader rollout.
• Build and lead a champion group that drives adoption and shares team feedback.
• Partner with workforce management, capacity planning, service catalog, and related tool owners to ensure reliable data flows and establish governance cadences.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in engineering program management, technical program management, or a closely related role.
• Experience leading multi-team programs from ambiguous starting conditions to durable operating models.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise work-tracking systems such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or equivalent platforms.
• Experience designing or evolving large taxonomies covering services, products, capabilities, or ownership domains.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills with engineering leaders, program managers, finance, operations, and individual contributors.
• B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Administration or platform-team experience with enterprise work-tracking or engineering systems.
• Familiarity with service catalogs, CMDBs, workforce management, capacity planning, or financial planning integrations.
• Experience using LLM-assisted workflows for large-scale data cleanup, classification, or migration.
• Experience with distributed champion groups or communities of practice for tooling adoption.
• Advanced degree in a related field.
