Homecare Warehouse Dispenser (Pharmacy)

What you will do

• Receive, book in, systemise, and store medicines accurately.
• Store products using batch control and first-expired, first-out principles.
• Pick, dispense, and dispatch patient orders accurately and on time.
• Follow standard operating procedures, operational KPIs, GDP, GWP, and pharmacy procedures.
• Perform compliance and quality checks, escalate discrepancies, and support incident and complaint investigations.
• Manage medicine returns and the safe disposal of medicines and waste.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing Assistant or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience in a pharmacy or warehouse environment and in following standard operating procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organisation, communication, and IT skills.
• Understanding of safeguarding at Level 1 or equivalent, safe manual handling, and Good Documentation Practice.
• Ability to work in an active role with frequent manual handling, shift-based schedules, and required PPE.
