Customer Engineer III (C3) (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Dallas-Richardson, Texas or Sherman, Texas, United States. On-site customer equipment support is required; travel is approximately 20%.

Salary: $37.00–$51.20 per hour.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Apply diagnostic techniques and digital analytics to troubleshoot technical issues with support from senior engineers.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and customers to understand equipment roadmaps, process flows, requirements, and business challenges.
• Train and mentor junior field service engineers.
• Coordinate directly with customers and provide equipment support.

Requirements

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• 4–7 years of experience in the semiconductor industry or another equipment support industry.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, and/or thermodynamics.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools and digital multimeters.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport if travel is required.
