Technician II - Reliability (Semiconductor)

Location: Onsite in Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day.

Hourly pay: $19.00–$32.69 USD.

What you will do

• Operate laboratory equipment and perform device, package, and environmental stress evaluations, including Mil-Std-883 Group B/D stresses.
• Measure dimensions, monitor equipment performance, review data, and compare results with qualification plans and product specifications.
• Conduct inspections, preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Document results, review failure assessment data, maintain records, and prepare summary reports.
• Analyze statistical data and assist engineers with stress-failure investigations and non-conformance evaluations.
• Participate in audits and collaborate with reliability, product engineering, test engineering, and quality teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience with product or board inspections, environmental stress testing, product testing, and measurement or electronic equipment in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
• Technical knowledge of measurement tools, test equipment, industry standards, and quality monitoring.
• Ability to read assembly prints, qualification plans, standards, and specifications.
• Proficiency with office software for recording, analyzing, and reporting results.
• Must provide proof of U.S. citizenship, permanent U.S. residency, or protected-individual status under U.S. export-control requirements.

Nice to have

• Technical certification or degree in quality, technology, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering.
• Semiconductor, IC, PCB, electronic, or mechanical experience.
• Experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, source meters, function generators, DMMs, thermometers, soldering, board assembly, failure analysis, schematics, C, Python, or SQL.
