Sr Project Leader, Technical Cost Out (Medical Devices)

Location: Skaneateles, New York, United States; hybrid work with a required minimum number of onsite days per week

Salary: $112,000–$154,000 annually, plus potential discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Manage multiple technical cost-saving projects with varying complexity and business impact.
• Lead and participate in cost-saving ideation events and develop ideas into feasible projects.
• Scope, plan, budget, schedule, and execute projects while tracking tasks and mitigating risks.
• Implement design changes into production for current medical device products.
• Evaluate regulatory standards, review design inputs and outputs, and apply medical device design controls.
• Coordinate internal teams and suppliers and support ongoing lean office and process improvements.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of applied project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Electrical, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with medical device design controls and regulatory standards.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing, R&D, Quality Assurance, Regulatory, Sourcing, and Operations.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP, including DIRs, BOMs, MMDS, and Engineering Change Requests.
• Experience communicating with senior leadership.
