Maintenance Electrician - Continental Night Shift (18:30-6:30)

Location: Alliston, Ontario, Canada. Onsite continental night shift from 18:30 to 6:30.

Salary: $44.00 CAD per hour, plus a possible shift premium for eligible hours.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment breakdowns.
• Respond to breakdown calls as the assigned primary or backup technician.
• Perform electrical maintenance on radio frequency generators and collaborate with industrial mechanics.
• Use PLC knowledge and advanced diagnostic skills to identify root causes of machine failures.
• Install electrical services, update wiring documentation, and maintain accurate drawings.
• Follow preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience, including apprenticeship hours.
• Ontario Secondary School Diploma or Ontario Grade 12 equivalency.
• Valid provincial Industrial Electrician certification, 442A, required.
• PLC knowledge and practical experience required.
• Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic experience with complex machinery.
• Proof of apprenticeship and experience in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Post-secondary degree in Engineering or Science.
• Manufacturing experience in a GMP environment.
• Experience in food or manufacturing industries.
• Experience with radio frequency heat-sealing welding processes.
• Practical experience with Lean tools such as 6S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
