Operational Controller (Manufacturing Finance)

Location: Austin, TX, United States. Relocation eligible. Travel required up to 10% of the time.

Salary: $116,000–$159,500 per year, with potential bonus and stock award eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead financial planning and forecasting cycles for New Product organizations, ensuring accurate and timely deliverables.
• Drive complex cross-functional finance projects and serve as a process integration lead or workstream owner for local, regional, and global initiatives.
• Review, monitor, and approve financial transactions while ensuring compliance with company policies and controls.
• Develop financial models, analyses, and executive presentations to support strategic decision-making.
• Partner with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Business Units to improve cost, delivery, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Support gross margin improvement, inventory impact management, E&OP planning, manufacturing plan development, and strategic investments in automation, digital transformation, IT systems, and capacity expansion.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in financial planning, forecasting, cost management, manufacturing finance, and operational performance analysis.
• Subject matter expertise in Period, Burden, and Variance Analysis, finance processes, tools, and reporting methodologies.
• Ability to solve complex and ambiguous business challenges using advanced analytical techniques and sound judgment.
• Experience leading moderately to highly complex cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to financial and non-financial audiences, including senior leadership.
• Ability to work in or relocate to Austin, TX, United States; travel up to 10% is required.
