Construction Finance Manager

Location: Orangeville, Utah; willingness to spend time onsite and travel to project locations is required.

Salary: $160,000–$190,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Partner with construction, project management, engineering, procurement, and field teams on financial planning and performance.
• Own construction cost tracking, forecasting, budget-versus-actual reporting, and variance analysis across active projects.
• Manage project cash-flow planning, capital availability, commitments, contingencies, and construction exposure.
• Review contractor and vendor invoices, change orders, progress billings, payment schedules, and approved work.
• Connect cost, schedule, and earned value data into monthly executive-ready reports with risks and recommended actions.
• Build scalable financial processes, controls, cost-coding structures, and tools for multiple construction sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in construction finance, project finance, project controls, cost management, or related capital-project roles.
• Strong experience with construction cost tracking, forecasting, cash-flow management, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
• Familiarity with contractor billings, change orders, progress payments, and construction contract structures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to produce clear financial materials under tight deadlines.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.

• Experience with energy, infrastructure, industrial, or large capital construction projects.
• Experience with capital budgeting, funding plans, or cost reporting on multi-phase projects.
