Manufacturing Engineer II (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, operating sequences, and processes for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Coordinate the release of product improvements and new products with other engineering functions.
• Apply engineering and design for excellence principles to reduce manufacturing and product costs and improve quality.
• Establish time standards and recommend tooling and process requirements.
• Develop test procedures, evaluate test results, and assess work methods, procedures, and policies.
• Identify root causes and corrective actions for assembly and system-testing issues, perform Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis, and prepare reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Conceptual knowledge and technical experience for everyday problem-solving.
• Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Ability to work in manufacturing and clean-room environments, including standing for extended periods, working in tight spaces, and using hand and power tools.
• Personal protective equipment may be required, including coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
