Manufacturing Engineer 1 Edwards (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead the transition of new products from R&D into full-scale manufacturing.
• Create, review, and maintain work instructions, SOPs, 4M Change records, Build Sheets, TPM documents, and related databases.
• Assess the manufacturing impact of design changes and propose solutions that balance production efficiency and quality compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and Total Quality Management methodologies.
• Manage manufacturing implementation projects, monitor delivery against scope and timelines, and support procedural changes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve quality issues, reduce scrap, assess process risks, and address root causes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automotive, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field.
• At least 3 years of hands-on manufacturing experience, including at least 1 year in a manufacturing management or leadership role.
• At least 2 years of experience in advanced manufacturing or operations process planning, including product transitions and implementation projects.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical control systems, and pneumatic circuits.
• Experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks, SAP manufacturing modules, and EBOM/MBOM management.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Korean are required.

• Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
