CPA, Senior Tax Manager

Salary: USD 150,000–175,000 per year

What you will do

• Plan, supervise, budget, and complete tax engagements.
• Review tax returns and engagement documentation prepared by other staff, serving as the final reviewer and sign-off.
• Lead tax teams, assign staff, evaluate performance, and oversee departmental responsibilities.
• Resolve technical issues, monitor engagement developments, and keep partners informed.
• Prepare client billings and manage engagement economics, budgets, and profitability.
• Develop client relationships, market firm services, and identify cross-selling opportunities.

Requirements

• Active CPA license required.
• 10+ years of experience in public accounting or a CPA firm.
• 5–10 years of tax management experience.
• Experience supervising or managing staff, including performance reviews.
• Ability to review tax returns, plan and complete engagements, manage budgets, and handle billing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Master’s degree in Taxation, with strong analytical, leadership, interpersonal, and client relationship skills.
