TL;DR

Tax Manager - Partnerships: Facilitate primary reviews of complex tax returns and provide tax consulting services for partnership clients with an accent on partnership agreements, IRC 704b accounts, and Sub-chapter K taxation. Location: Remote (US-based, up to 25% travel)

Salary: $106,000 to $160,000

What you will do

  • Facilitate reviews of complex tax returns and deliver tax consulting for partnership clients
  • Evaluate tax aspects of partnership agreements and manage IRC 704b accounts
  • Manage client services teams on engagements, plan and execute tax projects across industries
  • Provide innovative tax planning, compliance expertise, market and implement strategies
  • Develop, train, mentor staff and conduct performance reviews
  • Research tax matters, utilize software for returns, respond to IRS inquiries, maintain client relationships

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA or licensed member of the Bar
  • 5+ years progressive tax compliance/consulting experience in public accounting or industry/public combo
  • Excellent analytical, technical tax skills; expertise in partnership returns, joint ventures, non-corporate entities, Sub-chapter K
  • Exceptional client service, communication, leadership, recruiting, training, coaching skills
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements, priorities in fast-paced environment; up to 25% travel
