Global Operations Finance Manager

Location: Wood Dale, Illinois, United States; remote-friendly work environment

Salary: $120,000–$125,000 USD per year, plus bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Consolidate global operations financial results, forecasts, and budgets across regional manufacturing and distribution sites.
• Analyze cost of goods sold, absorption variances, productivity, and capacity utilization to identify trends and corrective actions.
• Partner with regional operations leaders and plant controllers on budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual operations close processes, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Build financial models and dashboards for scenario planning and operations decision-making.
• Improve consolidation processes, forecast accuracy, reporting cycle times, internal controls, and audit readiness.

Requirements

• Experience in financial planning and analysis, operations finance, or manufacturing finance within a global organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience leading financial consolidation across multiple business units or geographies.
• Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or OneStream.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, including the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights for senior and cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or technology company.
• MBA, CPA, or CMA designation.
• Experience with cross-cultural or globally distributed teams.
• Familiarity with Lean, Kaizen, VBS, Power BI, or Tableau.
