Senior Financial Operations Consultant

Location: Remote, with successful candidates required to reside in Massachusetts or the New England area

Salary: $81,400–$122,100 annually; target compensation of $100,000 annually

What you will do

• Support program managers as a finance business partner across revenue, labor, expenses, budgets, forecasts, and KPIs.
• Manage the month-end close process, including financial analysis and commentary on results.
• Prepare financial statements and supporting documentation for external audits and liaise with auditors and Operations.
• Analyze program costs, financial drivers, variances, reconciliations, and contractual budgets.
• Prepare budget analyses, operational expense models, forecasts, and risk-mitigation recommendations.
• Support revenue recognition assessments under ASC 606 and drive process and system improvements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of applicable accounting or financial operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Strong cost accounting experience and hands-on preparation of financial statements for external audit.
• Experience managing accurate and efficient month-end close processes.
• Understanding of ASC 606, revenue recognition, and related financial impacts.
• Must be based in New England and authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship or immigration support.
