Engineering Manager

What you will do

• Lead planning, set priorities, track progress, and ensure projects ship on time with high quality.
• Identify risks, remove blockers, and collaborate with product/design on scope and trade-offs.
• Manage and mentor engineers: run 1:1s, provide feedback, support career growth, and hold accountable.
• Build collaborative team culture with high standards.
• Partner on recruiting: source, interview, hire top talent, and improve processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years as software engineer with strong technical foundation.
• 2+ years managing engineers, including 1:1s, performance reviews, career development.
• Experience leading project planning and delivery for product teams.
• High standards for quality and ability to enforce without micromanaging.
• Strong communication to explain decisions and align teams.

Nice to have

• Experience sourcing and closing engineering talent.
• Work on consumer apps with large user bases.
• Background in mobile engineering or rich interactive experiences.
• Experience at startups wearing multiple hats.
• Interest in creative tools or design software.
