Sr Manager - Mass Market Technical Leader - Americas

What you will do

• Lead and develop NXP Field Applications Engineers supporting mass-market customers and distribution partners across the Americas.
• Set technical priorities and ensure consistent positioning of embedded, connectivity, and AI solutions.
• Align distributor technical support strategies and build scalable training, certification, and enablement programs.
• Support design-in strategies across microcontrollers, processors, connectivity, and system solutions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Lines, Marketing, Engineering, and distributor leadership to improve design wins, funnel growth, and customer expansion.
• Recruit, coach, and develop FAEs and new college graduates through structured onboarding and development paths.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in Field Applications, Product Engineering, or Technical Support roles.
• Prior formal people leadership or team lead experience.
• Strong background in embedded systems, microcontrollers, and system-level architecture.
• Experience with semiconductor distribution, distributor technical support teams, business development, and design-in cycles.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

• Experience with AI-enabled embedded systems or edge computing architectures.
• Experience developing early-career engineers or new college graduates.
