Materials Project Manager (Semiconductor)

Location: Singapore, Singapore. Travel: 10% of the time. Relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Forecast and communicate engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers.
• Perform make-versus-buy analysis and coordinate demand signals through MRP to minimize inventory exposure.
• Coordinate materials deliverables across product development, including materials strategies, commercialization plans, and change control.
• Support supplier selection, contract and price negotiations, risk assessments, and supplier performance monitoring.
• Work with engineering to identify critical and long-lead parts, inspection requirements, and supplier road maps.
• Track cost objectives and KPIs while partnering with suppliers to resolve quality issues.

Requirements

• Conceptual knowledge in the relevant materials, engineering, or manufacturing discipline.
• Understanding of key business drivers and the ability to apply technical judgment to straightforward problems.
• Ability to explain complex information clearly and provide informal guidance to new team members.
• Ability to work in Singapore and travel approximately 10% of the time.
