Manufacturing Procurement Site Lead

Location: Singapore Manufacturing - Tuas; onsite manufacturing site role

What you will do

• Lead procurement operations and act as the primary liaison between the manufacturing site and Global Sourcing.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies, multi-year savings pipelines, and value plans aligned with category, business, and Finance objectives.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Facilities & Engineering, Supply Chain, site executives, and global sourcing teams.
• Manage supplier relationships, identify and mitigate supply risks, and lead sourcing for capital projects from supplier selection through contracting.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, sustainability, and procurement operating-model initiatives.
• Monitor procurement performance, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with GLP, GMP, ISO, audit, inspection, and quality-control requirements.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree with 2 years of directly related experience, master’s degree with 6 years, or bachelor’s degree with 8 years.
• Experience managing direct and/or indirect manufacturing spend categories in an international, cross-cultural environment.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing, tendering, supplier negotiations, contract management, benchmarking, market analysis, and supplier relationship management.
• Financial competence, including business-case development and delivering measurable financial benefits.
• Strong project management, change management, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to work independently and challenge the status quo.
