Location: Santa Clara, CA, United States. The role involves travel 25% of the time and is eligible for relocation.

Salary: $124,000–$171,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop service procedures, Best Known Methods, technical product manuals, Customer Engineering Notices, Internal Service Bulletins, and troubleshooting guides.
• Participate in or lead first-chamber builds and testing, resolve issues with Engineering, and support new product final testing with Manufacturing.
• Partner with Quality & Reliability to address field issues, participate in CAPA processes, and conduct or facilitate failure analysis.
• Collect process and qualification data to establish product Best Known Methods.
• Develop initial training packages and coordinate training for Customer Engineers, Process Engineers, and Technical Product Support personnel.
• Identify parts requiring inventory and coordinate stocking with the appropriate supply organization.

Requirements

• Conceptual and practical expertise in the relevant discipline, with basic knowledge of related disciplines.
• Knowledge of best practices and how the function integrates with other areas.
• Ability to solve complex problems using multiple sources of information and sound judgment.
• Ability to explain difficult or sensitive information and build consensus across teams.
• Ability to support or lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.
• Availability to work in Santa Clara, California, travel up to 25% of the time, and relocate if required.
