Product Release Engineer

Location: Milpitas, California, United States; onsite

Salary: $95,000–$161,500 annually

What you will do

• Support Engineering Change Orders in ENOVIA PLM and SAP ERP systems.
• Maintain product structures, bills of materials, revision data, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate release documentation with mechanical, electrical, optical, and software engineering teams.
• Perform data validation and quality checks before product releases.
• Work with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Service teams to resolve release questions and documentation gaps.
• Track ECO tasks, support production ramps, and contribute to continuous improvement of release processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or a related field, plus at least 2 years of related experience; or a master’s degree with no related experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or product data management.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, BOMs, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn structured data management and configuration management practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively, follow defined processes, and communicate effectively.

Nice to have

• Exposure to PLM or ERP systems such as ENOVIA, SAP, or similar platforms.
