Staff Nurse-Inpatient Behavioral Health Part-time Nights

Location: 3701 Doty Rd, Woodstock, Illinois, United States. Part-time night position with 12-hour shifts, 24 hours per week, and a commitment to work every other weekend.

Salary: USD 34.50–55.20 per hour

What you will do

• Assess acutely ill inpatient behavioral health patients and develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Implement, coordinate, and evaluate nursing interventions and patient outcomes.
• Direct and delegate care to assistants involved in direct patient care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary staff.
• Document care plans, communications, interventions, and patient responses in the health record.
• Participate in shared governance, committee work, unit projects, and evidence-based practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• An Associate Degree in Nursing is acceptable with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.

Nice to have

• Experience in the relevant clinical area.
• Trauma Nurse Specialist, Emergency Communications Registered Nurse, Certified Pediatric Nurse, or Certified Emergency Nurse credentials.
