Clinical Shift Coordinator RN Medical Care Center Full-time Days (Registered Nursing)

Location: 25 N. Winfield Rd., Winfield, Illinois, United States; clinical work at CDH Medical Care Center, 4 B. Full-time day shift from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. with rotating weekends.

Salary: USD 38.50–61.60 per hour

What you will do

• Coordinate inpatient nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
• Lead daily unit operations, assign care according to staff competency and patient acuity, and monitor staffing compliance.
• Monitor unstable, complex, or high-risk patient conditions and coordinate patient placement to support safety.
• Oversee documentation, charges, timekeeping, equipment accounting, regulatory readiness, and life-safety standards.
• Coach, round with, orient, and provide feedback to nursing staff while supporting interviews, competencies, retention, and performance evaluations.
• Drive patient-satisfaction tactics, quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and cost-effective unit operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• At least 3 years of RN experience.
• Licensed RN in the State of Illinois.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and telemetry competency.
• Basic computer knowledge and effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work within the Illinois Practice Act for Nursing and ANA Standards of Professional Nursing Practice, assess interpreter needs, and use interpreter services effectively.

Nice to have

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
• Two or more years of experience in a pertinent clinical specialty.
• NRN or specialty certification such as CV-RN, CHFN, CCRN, PCCN, CNML, or NE-BC; specialty certification is required within two years.
