Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Location: Tucson Proving Ground – Green Valley, Arizona, United States; onsite five days a week. Domestic relocation assistance is available. The role may require up to 10% travel.

Salary: $128,470–$192,710 per year.

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing engineering and operational process development for product testing, validation, and technical services.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, Built-In Quality, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee facility readiness, equipment capability, capital projects, tooling, infrastructure, and process controls.
• Provide leadership for quality management systems, ISO 17025 accreditation support, audit readiness, and compliance.
• Improve calibration, instrumentation, contamination control, weld quality, torque control, data collection, and reporting.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across Manufacturing Engineering, Lean, Quality, Training, and Site IT while managing operating and capital budgets.

Requirements

• Must work onsite full-time, five days per week, at the hirify.global facility in Green Valley, Arizona.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering, operations, engineering validation, technical services, or quality leadership.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, facility operations, process development, engineering validation, and process controls.
• Experience with RCCA, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and sustainable corrective actions.
• Ability to lead technical and cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and manage complex improvement projects.
• Visa sponsorship, international assignments, and payroll transfers are not available.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of ISO-based Quality Management Systems, preferably ISO 17025.
• Experience with manufacturing, operational, facility, and process improvement initiatives.
