Personal Banker

What you will do

• Build and maintain client and prospect relationships through meetings, phone outreach, community engagement, and educational events.
• Assess financial needs and recommend tailored banking products and services.
• Drive sales conversations, manage an opportunity pipeline, and achieve business development goals.
• Educate clients on mobile, online, ATM, and other digital banking options.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, account servicing, and other routine or complex transactions.
• Manage the financial center lobby experience and follow risk management and operational safety policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of sales and client service experience, or a bachelor's degree with 2 years of cash-handling, customer service, and retail experience.
• Ability to form, expand, and deepen client relationships.
• Working knowledge of banking products, services, regulations, systems, applications, and research tools.
• NMLS registration under the SAFE Act of 2008 is required, subject to successful registration and background check.
• Ability to work financial center hours, including evenings and weekends, travel as required, work under stress, and lift or carry approximately 25 pounds when necessary.

Nice to have

• Prior banking experience.
• State Life Insurance license.
• Bachelor's degree.
