Field Service Engineer (Ireland)

Location: Dublin, Leinster, Ireland; ideally based in Westmeath, Meath, Kildare, or Dublin, with regular travel across Ireland. Engineers typically start from home, travel 1–2 hours each way to customer sites, and may occasionally stay overnight.

What you will do

• Install and commission hirify.global equipment at customer sites.
• Perform maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting on installed equipment.
• Manage service cases from diagnosis through resolution.
• Support product demonstrations and trials with the sales team.
• Build customer relationships through technical support and identify opportunities to improve customer performance.

Requirements

• Experience in field service or technical service within an electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical engineering environment.
• Strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills in industrial or production settings.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively across Ireland.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple service tasks and customer needs.

Nice to have

• Experience with industrial coding and marking technologies such as CIJ, laser coding, labeling, or similar systems.
