Asset Management Technician Painter Decorator

What you will do

• Maintain high-quality paint finishes and the appearance of surfaces across Terminals 1 and 2, the campus, and the airfield.
• Operate sign-making vinyl-cutting equipment and the Seiko 64s Colour Painter printing machine to produce operational and marketing signage.
• Own the performance and upkeep of painting and sign-making equipment, including uptime, response times, resolution times, and work-order completion.
• Coordinate painting, signage, glazing, window-film, and other building-fabric contractors and support contractor reviews under ISO 55001.
• Record planned, reactive, corrective, and contractor work in the CMMS system and maintain accurate maintenance documentation.
• Support cross-functional maintenance activities, safety and environmental standards, continuous improvement, and cost-effective customer-focused solutions.

Requirements

• Relevant technical painting qualification, such as a National Craft Certificate or Standards Based Apprenticeship.
• Minimum of 2 years of post-apprenticeship experience.
• Strong commitment to health and safety and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a safety-critical environment.
• Practical experience safely using electrical, hand, and power tools.
• Effective communication, initiative, problem-solving ability, resourcefulness, and willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
• Full clean driver's licence.
