Technical Project Manager (ALD)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; onsite role with approximately 10% travel. Relocation is not eligible.

Salary: $96,000–$132,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage ALD new product transitions, with potential support for continuous improvement projects and refurbished systems.
• Develop high-level Plans for Record and Assemble-to-Order manufacturing strategies, including module build and test locations.
• Coordinate manufacturing builds from laboratory chambers and Early Learning Shipments through the ALD pilot line.
• Manage Development Tool of Record shipments to customers and coordinate with design engineering, manufacturing engineering, operations, suppliers, quality, finance, and business management.
• Track build and test documentation, supplier quality, field quality, cost, schedules, and project deliverables.
• Complete transitions to volume production after modules meet capacity, cycle-time, performance, and quality targets.

Requirements

• Conceptual and practical expertise in the relevant discipline, with basic knowledge of related disciplines.
• Knowledge of best practices and how the function integrates with other business areas.
• Ability to solve complex problems using information from multiple sources and exercise sound judgment.
• Experience coordinating project plans, deliverables, resources, cost performance, reports, tracking charts, and checklists.
• Ability to explain difficult or sensitive information and build consensus across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work onsite in Austin, Texas, with approximately 10% travel; relocation is not available.
