Training Specialist (Financial Services)

Location: hirify.global Plaza, Gulfport, Mississippi, United States; regional travel approximately 50% of the time

What you will do

• Schedule, notify participants about, and deliver assigned in-person and virtual instructor-led training.
• Coordinate with leadership and learning design resources to plan coursework and respond to hiring trends.
• Manage classroom environments, provide learner feedback, and distribute post-class surveys.
• Document offerings, attendance, and course credit in the learning management system.
• Review and maintain course materials, internal certifications, computer labs, and training equipment.
• Support other training specialists outside the assigned region when needed.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of training experience, or specialized financial services knowledge that may substitute for training experience.
• Technical ability to use company platforms, LCDs, webinar tools, surveys, and other training technology.
• Ability to explain company regulatory and policy information and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong analytical, organizational, customer service, presentation, and training skills.
• Ability to travel regionally approximately 50% of the time and lift or carry approximately 30 pounds when required.

Nice to have

• Financial services training experience and experience with financial services systems.
• Understanding of financial services regulations, lending, financial statements, credit analysis, and business math.
• Sales experience or knowledge of sales processes and client relationship management tools.
• Previous management experience.
