Financial Aid Advisor (EdTech)

What you will do

• Meet with current, prospective, and alumni students to guide them through the financial aid process.
• Process verification, disbursements, and state and federal aid awards in accordance with regulations and policy.
• Determine eligibility, prepare estimates and financial aid packages, and assist with private loans and VA benefits.
• Counsel students and parents and support default management and financial literacy programs.
• Audit records, run reports to verify work integrity, and maintain current knowledge of federal regulations.
• Coordinate with other departments to support students and maintain positive cash flow.

Requirements

• 2+ years of financial aid experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, multitasking, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Regular in-person attendance of up to 5 days per week on campus is required.
• On-site collaboration with students, faculty, and staff is required.
