What you will do

• Design, test, check out, fabricate, modify, troubleshoot, and assemble electronic and electromechanical systems, prototypes, test equipment, tools, and fixtures.
• Test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level problems in electrical and mechanical systems and subsystems.
• Perform new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, and mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing.
• Work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, plans, and written or verbal descriptions.
• Maintain logbooks and test procedures, assist with department procedures, perform rework, and generate Quality Notifications.
• Follow safety, security, cleanroom, and manufacturing procedures, including the use of required protective equipment.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of related work experience in the same or a similar industry.
• Proficiency in analytical processes and procedures for assigned technical tasks.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, climb, work in tight spaces, use hand and power tools, and operate equipment such as forklifts.
• Ability to distinguish colors and work in environments with potentially difficult noise levels.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom and use required personal protective equipment, including coveralls, gloves, respirators, and face shields.
• Ability to work onsite in Santa Clara, California.
