Engineering Specialist III (Onsite)

Location: Bloomington, Minnesota, United States — onsite. Must work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and every other Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. No travel required.

Salary: $27.37–$39.13 per hour.

What you will do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Photo, Plate, Test, production, and production-test equipment in a wafer fabrication cleanroom.
• Perform preventive maintenance and follow equipment maintenance instructions.
• Establish and maintain preventive maintenance programs, procedures, and repair standards.
• Reduce equipment downtime while meeting company and safety standards.
• Administer training on equipment operation, preventive maintenance, repair programs, and procedures.
• Recommend solutions, determine methods for new assignments, and provide guidance to other team members.

Requirements

• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment in wafer fabrication.
• Knowledge of electronic circuits, PLCs, robotics, and electrical schematics.
• Experience in the semiconductor or a related industry.
• Ability to work with chemicals while following all safety procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to work the required onsite schedule.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in a technical field.
• Software and hardware experience.
