Technician IV - Equipment (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Hourly pay: $18.27–$46.63

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine repairs on production equipment in a wafer fabrication facility.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment using technical manuals, schematics, drawings, flow charts, and diagnostic tools.
• Install, modify, upgrade, and maintain manufacturing equipment.
• Study equipment performance and reliability and develop solutions to increase uptime.
• Provide technical support to production operators and process engineering teams.
• Maintain equipment records and help define preventive maintenance schedules while following cleanroom and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Technical or military training in electronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent related experience.
• 5–7 years of relevant equipment maintenance and repair experience.
• Ability to read electrical and electronic schematics, mechanical drawings, piping diagrams, and flow charts.
• Experience troubleshooting analog and digital circuits at component level, including soldering and desoldering printed circuit board components.
• Experience repairing cable harnesses and testing electrical components with analog or digital multimeters.
• Must provide proof of US citizenship, permanent US residency, or protected-individual status under US export-control requirements.

Nice to have

• Diploma in a technical field.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, including diode manufacturing and testing.
• Experience with MIL-PRF-19500 and/or MIL-PRF-38534 product manufacturing.
