Business Unit Director - CIJ

Location: Wood Dale, Illinois, United States

Salary: $160,000–$200,000 USD per year, plus bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Own general management, sales growth, and P&L performance for the global continuous inkjet product line.
• Develop one-year and three-year product strategies, business cases, use cases, requirements, and revenue plans.
• Analyze competitors, product positioning, market dynamics, customer needs, and industry trends.
• Create sales enablement materials, including value-selling documents, ROI/TCO tools, solution guides, and competitive fight sheets.
• Lead global product launches, demand-generation planning, and internal support materials with Marketing and regional leaders.
• Coordinate engineering, production, marketing, sales, QA, and service activities to deliver product updates, upgrades, enhancements, and releases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in product management or a related role.
• Experience successfully delivering new product launches.
• Senior product experience at director level with a technical product is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the marking and coding market, industry trends, and user experience.
• Expertise in market research tools, product vision, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering and commercial organizations.
