Staff Software Engineer - (Product Integration)

Location: Based in the Plano, Texas office with regular travel to the Santa Clara, California headquarters

Salary: $104,000–$169,500 per year, with potential bonus and restricted stock units

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain asynchronous REST/gRPC microservices, background workers, and database schemas in Python.
• Develop API endpoints, webhook receivers, and ingestion hooks for LLM prompts, context payloads, and agent execution logs.
• Build AI Gateway integrations connecting model providers and agent frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, and MCP.
• Implement inline security controls, policy enforcement, fallback routing, and automated LLM red-teaming pipelines.
• Create architecture diagrams and integration blueprints for cloud and hybrid enterprise environments.
• Review partner architectures and provide documentation or SDKs to accelerate integrations.

Requirements

• 1+ years of software engineering or systems integration experience focused on backend development and cloud security.
• Production-level Python experience with asynchronous backend services, API frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask, and microservice architectures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Must be based in the Texas office and able to travel regularly to Santa Clara, California.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• Experience with distributed task queues such as Celery, Redis, or RabbitMQ and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on AI red-teaming, prompt defense, and MCP security experience.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs, vector storage, and agentic frameworks.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, Databricks, or Glean.
