Software Application Development Engineer (.NET/Python)

What you will do

• Develop automation software for hirify.global manufacturing factories.
• Work across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and detailed design through production release.
• Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and project managers to define software requirements.
• Develop software, document and automate test cases, and conduct design, code, test case, and installation reviews.
• Perform unit, functional, regression, and volume testing; build installation packages and release software to production.
• Support and resolve issues escalated from production.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government TS Security Clearance and SCI access.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of programming experience with C#, .NET, .NET Core, or Python.
• At least 2 years of experience with modern CI/CD platforms and GitHub.
• Experience may come from industry work, internships, schoolwork, classes, or research.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, object-oriented programming, and microservices.
• Familiarity with AI code assistants, including GitHub Copilot and Visual Studio.
