Tool Install Structural Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Hillsboro, Oregon, United States; hybrid work model with time split between the assigned hirify.global site and off-site work.

Annual salary: $89,010–$125,660 USD.

What you will do

• Design and oversee steel pedestal structures for permanent fab foundations supporting 300MM manufacturing tools.
• Create and refine structural layouts using Revit, AutoCAD, or equivalent CAD tools.
• Design, execute, and analyze engineering experiments to improve construction practices.
• Collaborate with suppliers to qualify and improve facilities equipment and systems.
• Develop hirify.global Master Design Specifications and operations documentation.
• Support technology transfers, equipment startups, and operational improvements related to efficiency, energy use, and safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field with hands-on structural design experience through internships, academic projects, coursework, or training; or a master’s degree in a related field with no prior professional experience.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, or equivalent CAD modeling tools.
• Familiarity with US building codes, including ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC.
• Strong technical writing skills for specifications and engineering documentation.
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
