What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain build tools, utilities, and infrastructure supporting the software development lifecycle.
• Optimize C++ build times through distributed compilation, object caching, dependency management, and code refactoring.
• Ensure compatibility across Linux, Windows, open-source components, and in-house code using Spack and Conda.
• Implement continuous integration, static analysis, profiling, coverage tools, and dashboards to identify broken components.
• Orchestrate automated builds and regression tests on a distributed build farm.
• Package C++, Python, and Python extensions for straightforward deployment while collaborating with developers and systems engineers.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience working with build systems for large codebases.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field, plus five years of software development experience.
• Professional coding experience in C/C++ and Python in a Linux environment.
• Experience with Make and CI/CD methodologies.
• Experience orchestrating automated build and regression tests on distributed build infrastructure.
• Ability to work onsite in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania.
